- Our client asked us to rewrite and rebuild an existing online course that ran very slowly, did not work in some browsers, and did not integrate properly with the client’s LMS. The primary audience accessed the course via dial-up connections, and the performance was so poor that virtually no one had completed the course.
- We rebuilt the course so that it ran well over dial-up connections, worked perfectly with the LMS, included improved navigation, and incorporated fluency practice—all for about one-fifth of the original vendor’s cost.
Results
- The client’s Marketing Department reported an increase in sales of the target product after the training initiative.
- User evaluations included several comments about the improvements in the new version.
- Course completion rates improved dramatically.
